26 children whose lives were turned upside down by the death of a parent. Some of them lost both their parents. These are the children of the fund. Every month we send them scholarships of BGN 500 (6,000 per year for each child) - to reduce worries about material things, but above all so that they do not feel alone after the ridiculous death of their parent. Their mothers and fathers - teachers, doctors, medics took care of us in the first waves of the pandemic and it cost them their lives. The fund is our gratitude and memory of their courage and dedication.
During these 12 months, the fund became the cause of many donors. It is not easy to raise funds for the scholarships. It won't be easy in the years to come either, until the children come of age or graduate from high school. Several of the children of the fund are 3-4-5 years old. In the first year, we found not just donors, but like-minded people.
The actor Alek Alexiev is the children's ambassador of the fund, one of the ambassadors and associates of the "For the Good" foundation.
Alec and NO BLINK studio proposed, organized and created a pro bono video for the fund to let more people know about the meaning of what we do and support us according to their desire and ability.
We shot the video at the beginning of December. Then the children of the fund were 25. A week ago they became 26. Another parent left his child without time and irretrievably.
The clip features actors and amateurs, children and adults. The loss of a parent went through everyone's heart. We cried in the pictures.
