We are starting a #Firefly project. Photo exhibition "Children's Hospitals Bulgaria 2021"

“My name is Laura. I was lying there a while ago with my daughter. I lived through my worst nightmare. I don't wish it on anyone. It was like a real prison, like in a horror movie. Misery, leaking pipes and sinks where, when you wash your hands, you actually wash your feet. The toilet door did not close and everyone was watching. There were bars on the windows - like in a prison. And we were told that "this is the nicest room in the ward."

This is one of all the stories that have come down to us. One of all the mothers who share about their stay in children's hospital wards. Laura's child. Annie's child. Joro's child. Our child. Your child. Children of Bulgaria.

Children in Bulgaria are treated in hospital wards that do not meet any standards. Not today's, not even those from 50 years ago, not at all! The wards are teeming with misery, mold and cockroaches. Sinking into oblivion of a country that should take care of the future. For children.

"For Good" Foundation launches "Firefly" campaign.

"Firefly" will try to change the environment in these wards. To give courage to children, parents, doctors and medics.
"Firefly" is the way to say it can't be like that anymore. "Firefly" will show everyone how big the problem is. To demand change as a society. Getting the state to change children's health care.

We start with this exhibition. Let everyone see the "Firefly" lit dark present in which the children are being treated. Let them see how it can be with the good examples around the world - this is what we want for the environment and the attitude towards children in hospitals.

Let's be a Firefly # the problem.

The photo exhibition will take place in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theater.
