we are following the war in Ukraine with pain and sorrow and from its first day we have been thinking about how we can help. We were considering how not just to be useful, but to support as effectively as possible the hundreds of families who were forced to leave their homes, abandon their jobs, dress their children and run away to Bulgaria with one backpack each to escape the war. They are our brothers, sisters, children, and this war has become a war against civilization.

Those who arrive, as well as those who stay there, need the support and strength of the good in us.

We believe that human kindness is stronger than rockets, tanks and bombs, and as long as we can, we will count on this belief with all possible resources.

We did not start a campaign on the first day, as many organizations had already done so. If there are too many campaigns, it creates unnecessary noise and makes it difficult for people.

However, today, after many conversations with people and organizations who support the For Good Foundation and know how we work "urgently" and how we report our work, we held a general meeting and we are launching a campaign with the following motives:

We will have the opportunity to very quickly and efficiently buy and send what is needed for the refugees from Ukraine who arrive in Bulgaria.
We will be able to create our coordination to support the already started large campaigns that are more difficult to manage. We can help with the accumulated experience of similar activities and with the trust in us.
We will be able to guarantee the spending of the donated funds as much as possible in an emergency situation and extreme conditions.
We will make a supportive campaign with commitments to concrete things and effective control over them.

What the campaign funds will be used for:

For consumables, food, medicine, accommodation, things and services that ensure the normal stay of Ukrainian refugees in our country.
For supplies and materials for the people who are left to fight for their country and for transport to Ukraine. It should be clear that outside the borders of the EU, delivering this aid will be difficult. We will do our best to check the people we work with, but in times of war it will sometimes be impossible to have control over everything.
We will organize the provision of medical care for the children, women and men who have arrived in our country in coordination with our partner hospitals. If necessary, we will only provide the means for treatment if it cannot be covered by the treatment facility.
Any other activities that may be necessary for the Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria.
