Action "Venoscope"

Project status

Finished

This campaign has a beginning and for now there is no end. Polly Troyanova, as always, manages to turn a bad experience into a good one. Polly said they needed venoscopes:

"My 1-year-old little son and I spent a lot of time in the hospital. Finding a child's vein is not easy. After several failed jabs, the child is in pain and stressed. His parents too. The procedure, which is sometimes urgent, is delayed with all the risks involved.

A venoscope finds children's veins much more easily than a person, no matter how experienced. The venoscope is a high-tech device that works with infrared light. Small veins are visible on a small monitor. Instead of blindly, the medical professional can judge which veins are suitable for placement of an abocate or for other manipulation.

When we left the hospital, the thought of the venoscope kept nagging at me. So, in an interview with Victoria Boyadzhieva from Nova TV, I again talked about the venoscope. I was already planning a campaign.

Immediately after the broadcast, a lady called me with an offer that the company she works for donates a venoscope. We donated the first device - the best on the market at the moment, model VIVO 500S, with a stand and with a battery for mobile use.

This venoscope is already in a national cardiology hospital in Sofia, a pediatric intensive care unit.

The next two venoscopes will be donated to the "St. Anna" - Varna, in the pediatric clinic, and in MOBAL "Stefan Cherkezov" in Veliko Tarnovo, in the pediatric department. We are expecting delivery soon.

All three venoscopes were provided by anonymous donors.”

Will there be more? Definitely.

With thanks to Antonios Sotirakis for providing the photos.
