Who are we?

Our mission is to enforce a high standard for children's health care and education.

We mobilize donors and volunteers to modernize the treatment and education environment for children, protect children's rights and restore trust between children and their parents and pediatric specialists and teachers.

We develop civic sensitivity to children's health care and education.

We act with urgency because every day counts and every child's life is priceless.

For The Good Foundation 

has existed as a legal entity since December 2020, but its activities began in 2019 as an informal civic initiative Project #For Good, which already unites over 12,000 volunteers and donors throughout the country, as well as Bulgarians living abroad.

Founders of the Foundation

are 8 women, managers, journalists, artists. They are among the initiators of the national civil initiative "For a Real Children's Hospital", which submitted a petition to the Bulgarian Parliament for the construction of a modern pediatrics hospital according to the highest standards of children's health and treatment.

the special award of the Bulgarian Donor Forum “Courage and Inspiration in Donation” 2021

This award is being presented to an organization for the first time.

Thank you for your appreciation and trust. Thank you for having such amazing people and organizations who really do their best to build a better civil society.

We thank everyone who, during these two years and nearly 20 campaigns, stood by us, supported us, and worked alongside us. You and the children are our true inspiration. And that, believe me, is more necessary than anything else.

"Alarm Clock of the Year".

On November 1, on the Day of People's Alarm Clocks, the "For Good" Foundation received the special award of bTV Radio as part of the "Alarm Clock of the Year" campaign.

The Beds for Healing Foundation project was among the 10 finalists in the eighth edition of the campaign, selected by a jury from over 130 nominations. This campaign is part of our causes for modernizing children's healthcare in Bulgaria.

The national campaign "Alarm Clock of the Year 2021" was organized by the Bulgarian National Radio and was broadcast on bTV.

Thanks for the recognition! It is a recognition of the efforts of all the volunteers and donors of the foundation.

"Person Committed to the Cause of Children's Healthcare" 2019

Award of the Bulgarian Pediatric Association for "Person committed to the cause of children's health care" 2019. The cause is the renovation of the nephrology department in the specialized children's hospital "Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev".

The For Good Foundation was founded and continues to uphold the values of humanity, sensitivity, charity, solidarity, and empathy. We work with respect, understanding, and dialogue with vulnerable groups and communities, as well as with partner organizations and institutions.

Our history

We started Project SVETULKA with an exhibition that documents the current state of the majority of children's hospital wards in Bulgaria. The exhibition collects shocking testimonies of the long-standing misery that parents sent to the foundation along with horrifying stories about their children's stay there. 

As an antithesis, the exhibition featured photographs from modern children's hospitals and wards around the world. The FIREFIGHTER project is initiating a change that will bring children's hospital wards into the European 21st century.
