Today, on October 19, we celebrate the Day of the Bulgarian Doctor. A holiday of hope, but also a mirror of reality. And in this mirror, no matter how much we want to see smiles, peace and well-appreciated work, fatigue and disbelief are reflected...

Congratulating a doctor without providing him with decent working conditions is like thanking a soldier you sent to the front without a weapon. Saying "Thank you" to a young medic who works for minimum wage and spends the night in the hospital, when at the same time you deny him support, specialization, and prospects, is insulting.

And yet, doctors are here and working to keep us all alive! Despite the crumbling environment, despite the endless on-call shifts, despite the system that often treats them as an “excess expense.” Happy holiday to all doctors! Happy holiday to the nurses (and brothers) and everyone employed in the healthcare system!

To all who heal, even when the system makes them sick! We see, we appreciate, we are with you. 💛
Thank you to everyone who has not resigned! 🙏

Hopefully one day this holiday will be a true day of recognition!
We keep pushing together!
