In a world that often forgets how powerful kindness can be, volunteers are those people who quietly, tirelessly, and with heart change the reality around us. They are the heart of every cause – that quiet force that works while others are still wondering.
For the seventh consecutive year, the TimeHeroes National Volunteering Awards have brought together the stories of inspiring people and organizations who, through small but consistent actions, are making the world a better place. Stories of caring, empathy, perseverance and light that prove that goodness is all around us – if only we have the eyes to see it and the heart to follow it.
An evening of inspiration and gratitude
The event brought together people and organizations from all over the country – from volunteers painting smiles on the walls of children’s wards, to journalists and companies using their platform, resources and voice to support important social causes. The atmosphere was charged with emotion, gratitude and a sense of meaning.
The For Good Foundation had the honor of presenting a special award – “Grade for Voicing Social Issues and Public Causes on National Broadcasting”. For us, this is not just a formality. It is a recognition that the voice for change is heard. And that when we talk about important causes, when we give visibility to difficulties and to light, we touch even more hearts.
Good is a choice. Volunteering is a path.
Standing on stage among all these true heroes, we realized again something we always believe:
Good is a choice. Volunteering is a path.
A path that is not always easy, but always meaningful. A path that we illuminate together – firefly by firefly, department by department, story by story. A path in which there are no small steps – because every action, every smile, every extended hand is important.
