We started the campaign in the first hours after the declaration of the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.
The purpose of the campaign was to meet the urgent needs of hospitals across the country facing the threat of the unknown virus. We were inundated with requests for help - for ventilators and other medical equipment, to furnish and re-equip the hospital wards designated for crisis response, for personal protective equipment...
We bought, donated and organized the delivery to over 100 hospitals across the country of hundreds of thousands of gloves, protective masks, overalls; thousands of reusable protective suits, goggles, disinfectants.
We donated 10 ventilators to frontline hospitals, a lot of medical equipment and supplies for it.
Volunteers - engineers, dentists and owners of 3D printers, organized the large-scale production of safety helmets. They were joined as volunteers by manufacturing companies that started a second production. We provided over 12,000 helmets to hospital staff in covid wards during the first three months of the pandemic.
In a few weeks, the campaign collected over BGN 570,000 in donations from private individuals, corporate donors and diplomatic missions in the country.
Together with donations of materials, services and personal labor and with donations from campaigns supporting us, the total value of the collected funds reached BGN 1 million. To date, the campaign of Project #For Good is the country's largest civil initiative during the pandemic in support of the medics and the sick.
The initiative met us with friends and donors like V-Ray Chaos Group, Ubisoft Sofia, Alex Melamed... dozens of like-minded people.
We have tried and often succeeded in responding quickly to calls for help from hospitals.
