In 2023, the "Svetulka" project also includes the department in Karnobat, and it will be completed by mid-2024.
The "For the Good" Foundation has a project for the renovation of the ward ready and approved by the hospital.

We called the project "Grandma's Garden". The inpatient block of the department has 16 rooms, distributed in two types, providing 19 single beds, 12 are independent boxes, 4 rooms for mixed accommodation and 3 beds in the intensive sector.

In front of each group of boxes, we will build a kitchenette equipped with a sink, refrigerator, kettle for hot water and a microwave oven. In the same room, there will also be wardrobes corresponding to the number of rooms, so that the parent/guardian has the opportunity to store his personal belongings.

With this project, we will completely renovate the corridor of the department - we will lay new putty and plaster. All the colors of the project are specially selected so that they calm the patients and help them recover faster. The flooring in the ward will also be completely replaced with one suitable for a hospital environment.

A children's corner will also be built in the department, where children can play and return to their natural environment.

Our main partner is A1, who supported it with BGN 80,000 collected from the Christmas campaign in 2022. The amount was supplemented with BGN 5,000 collected by A1 employees during the Christmas Charity Bazaar again in 2022. The hospital itself will participate in the project with co-financing, providing BGN 37,000. for the purchase of equipment and materials.
