Bactericidal lamps against Covid-19

The campaign to donate germicidal lamps to hospitals and Emergency Medical Centers is a continuation of the initiative launched in March 2020 for emergency support to hospitals during the first wave of the pandemic.

The devices serve to disinfect the premises in hospital facilities, where the risk of spreading the virus is particularly high.

After carefully researching the market, we entered into negotiations with a Bulgarian manufacturer who has all the necessary certificates and permits, provides fast delivery and service for the devices. At the same time, the model we chose, the UV-C1, has a stand that is easy to use and to move between rooms in the hospital. This type of germicidal lamp is designed to work in the presence of people - the time factor is of key importance for patients and doctors.

By the end of December 2020, we have donated and delivered 57 germicidal lamps to 34 hospitals and emergency medical centers across the country. In the first weeks of 2021, we delivered 17 more lamps to hospitals.

Part of the bactericidal lamps were purchased with the rest of the funds donated to the #For Good campaign against Covid-19, and thus it ended for good. "Fund manager of financial instruments in Bulgaria" EAD donated another BGN 10,000 for 24 devices.
