The children's ward should be colorful, cheerful and cozy, not frightening, but flattering. In a word - to be fabulous. The "For Good" Foundation creates such conditions for children and needs our support.

For the third year in a row, A1 is organizing a donation campaign in favor of creating a more welcoming atmosphere in pediatrics in our country.

And because goodness is what connects us, this year you too can get involved in the campaign to raise funds for the renovation of the next children's hospital ward under the "Firefly" project. To support good, for every donation made, A1 will double the amount on its own account, so that we achieve twice as much positive change together.

What will we do with the donated funds?

In 2025, the "For the Good" Foundation will choose the next ward to transform with the funds collected from the "Donate to the Children, A1 will double" campaign. An expert team from the foundation will identify the most suitable department from those who have already applied form on our site. In the month of March next year, we will consider each of these applications individually and determine the department that will be completely transformed with the funds donated from this campaign.

To make a real difference, we base our decisions on our years of experience. Global research shows that the treatment environment has a key impact on recovery – a friendlier material base brings joy to young patients, better working conditions make doctors and medics more motivated, and parents are more relaxed. The direct connection between the change of the physical environment and the faster healing of the child puts him at the center of the healing process. By improving communication between all parties, the emotional environment in children's hospital wards in our country changes.

What we have achieved together so far

During the first Christmas digital campaign with a cause in My A1 in 2022. - "We round up in favor of the good", for each bill payment, A1 rounded up the amount to a round lev for his account in favor of the cause. The campaign generated the sum of BGN 85,000. C donation result in July of this year, the renovation of the material base in the children's ward of the "Multispecialty Hospital for Active Treatment - Karnobat" was completed.

  • The department, providing the treatment of over 600 small patients per year, already meets the highest standards.
  • We subjected the change of the environment to the theme "Grandma's Garden", whose elements bring joy and help children heal faster.

As part of "Goodness connects us: Donate to the children, A1 will double" which took place in 2023. private A1 customers could donate an amount of their choice on their monthly telecom bill, and the company doubled the amount raised at the end of the campaign. So in favor of the Svetulka project A1 donated BGN 150,000.

  • With the funds provided by A1, this year the complete renovation of the pediatrics department at the Botevgrad Medical Center was completed.
  • The department receives about 900 small patients every year, and after the completion of the project, all eight patient rooms were renovated, the intensive sector, the manipulation rooms, the waiting room, the reception room and the service rooms were renovated.
