That's why we created the "Become 1 of 10,000 Fireflies" campaign – a sustainable monthly donation initiative that will allow us to realize at least 2 complete transformations of children's departments every year.
Firefly is not just a symbol. This is a person who does a lot with a little – through monthly donation of 10 or 20 BGN. If 10,000 people donate 10 BGN per month, these are 100,000 BGN per month.
But here's where the magic happens - on average, renovating a children's ward according to the Firefly Project model costs about 600,000 leva. Our experience in over 10 complete transformations of pediatric wards implemented shows that with well-established partnerships we manage to engage the hospital, the municipality and local businesses to provide at least 50% of the funding needed.This means that with the support of 10,000 Fireflies, we can renew at least two departments every year.
