POSITION OF THE "FOR GOOD" FOUNDATION„ 

We at the For Good Foundation are seriously concerned by the resignation of Blagomir Zdravkov, director of the Specialized Children's Hospital in Sofia "Dr. Ivan Mitev".

The publicly stated motive – institutional pressure, administrative harassment and refusal of dialogue by the Ministry of Health – should be a red light for the entire society. Dr. Zdravkov does not point to a personal decision or an administrative act, although he could have done so if he wanted to save himself questions. Instead, he chose to call the problems by their real names.

This is another heavy blow to children's healthcare in Bulgaria. When the head of a nationally significant children's hospital publicly declares that he is subject to systemic institutional pressure, endless inspections, financial restrictions and a change in the meaning of medicine - the state is obliged to respond.
We know the reality in children's hospitals. We also know the price that doctors, teams, and most of all children and their parents pay when the administration decides to crush instead of support.

The For Good Foundation INSISTS:
1. For complete public transparency regarding all inspections, orders and actions of the Ministry of Health.
2. For an immediate independent verification of whether the institutional pressure being talked about is real and systemic.
3. For a clear and public answer from the Ministry - who, why and for what purpose created an environment in which a successful director leaves with pain, not satisfaction.
4. For guarantees that children's hospitals will not be an arena of administrative wars, but a place for treatment, development and care.

Children's healthcare is not a territory for a demonstration of power. Children's hospitals are not departmental trophies. Doctors are not enemies of the system. And when the state starts pushing out precisely those people who work with morality, dedication and results – this is a collapse.

We will insist. We will ask. We will demand answers.

Because the price of this inaction, as always, is paid by the children?
