Position of the Foundation "For Good" on the creation of the so-called "Soros Commission"„
On November 6, 2025, the deputies of the National Assembly established a temporary committee to investigate the activities of George Soros, Alexander Soros and their associated foundations on the territory of Bulgaria.
The proposal is from "DPS - New Beginning" and was supported by "Vazrazhdane", BSP, ITN, MECH and "Velichye".
For years, the name "Soros" has been used as a byword and "scarecrow" by various political forces when they want to downplay criticism of their own behavior or to belittle the efforts of certain organizations.
We remind you that none of the organizations associated with George or Alexander Soros are banned in Bulgaria and have not been accused of corruption.
We at the For Good Foundation can't wait for the commission to come check us out.
Indeed. With documents, reports, results and facts.
We will proudly show them what we have done in the five years since we have existed – how many children's wards we have renovated, how many hospitals we have supported, how many campaigns we have implemented, and how many people we have touched with our work.
We can't wait for them to review our reports, especially the projects implemented with the support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
Because without them, "Firefly" would probably never be at the level of quality it is today. Or at least not so soon. Because in Bulgaria, it is rare to find donors who can say:
„"Here's 300,000 leva for a children's ward, make it so that there is no compromise in quality and it serves as a standard"“
We will show them:
How every penny goes to its intended purpose.
How is it possible to carry out repairs of such quality with such responsibility and control for such funds?.
What is the real outcome for children, parents and doctors?.
How one of the three departments, realized thanks to the support of "America for Bulgaria", won an international design award.
We have so much to show them that we are literally giddy.
We will only ask – to write it down!
Because we have never seen such accountability from politicians as we have.
And we've been waiting for it for years. Come on!
