From Dreams to Impact: For Good Foundation in NGO Masterclass

There are moments when you remember why you are walking this path. For the team of For The Good Foundation such a moment was our participation in Masterclass of the Summer School for NGOs, organized by Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law (BCNL) with the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation.

Training that builds on and opens horizons

Between June 9th and 13th in Sozopol, part of our team immersed themselves in a intensive program, dedicated to the sustainable development of civil society organizations. The masterclass brought together leading experts, activists and leaders from the non-governmental sector, with whom we had the opportunity to:

• we discuss strategic planning and sustainability of NGOs;

• develop ideas for diversification of financing;

• we are working on communication strategiesthat inspire;

• build approaches for long-term partnership and impact.

From dreams to actions

The masterclass was much more than theory – it was workshop for real solutionsWe return with notebooks full of plans and a newfound faith in the power of organizational development. Among the themes that remain with us:

• Let's dream not only of hospitals that don't look like hospitals, but of a civil society that is sustainable, visible and strong.

• To plan campaigns that have long-term value.

• Let's tell our causes in such a way that people to recognize themselves in them and want to be part of the change.

Connection, inspiration and a common mission

We met amazing people – colleagues from other organizations with whom we share not only causes, but also challenges, solutions and dreams. These contacts are just as valuable as the knowledge. We are united by the pursuit of one thing – a better present and future for Bulgaria and its children.

Yes, we are now “certified” – but not just with a document. But with an even greater determination to be better, more sustainable and even more usefulBecause the time invested in our development is time we give back – through stronger projects, inspiring campaigns and real transformation.
