We won two awards from the prestigious Golden Apple 2025 awards

Our project #Firefly was nominated in three categories for the Golden Apple Award of the National Network for Children and received an award in two of them:

🔹Category "Hospital" - Botevgrad Hospital
For the professional and heartfelt partnership in the transformation of the children's ward through the joint implementation of the "Firefly" project.

The attitude of the entire pediatric department team, as well as the hospital director, is an example that deserves to be shown - a desire for comprehensive change, readiness for full cooperation, a committed team, and a personal attitude towards the # Firefly cause.
The partnership with the hospital was key to the successful implementation of the project:

•   Botevgrad Municipality finances the major renovation
•  The hospital provided 11 new hospital beds
• The senior sister raised nearly 2,000 leva in donations for additional equipment
•  Eng. Nikolay Nedkov played an important role in the technical coordination
• The entire staff actively participates in the finishing activities and improvement of the children's corner.

This is a strong example of commitment and empathy for children's health - and proof of an effective public-private partnership between a municipality, a hospital, and the civil sector.

🔹 Category "Benefactor" - Foundation "For Good"
Recognition for a cause that not only renovates wards, but also changes standards and expectations in pediatric healthcare.
